My husband and I relocated from New York to Myrtle Beach a year ago thinking that we would not find anywhere with our authentic Jamaican cuisine. By chance we drove pass by Scotch Bonnet Restaurant and decided to check it out. We met Master Chef Chaplain who was very welcoming. Well, we were in for a pleasant surprise when we ordered from the menu and have visited several times to partake of his delicious meals. I have never been disappointed and I am always amazed at the large portions given. The food is ALWAYS delicious!!!!

By far, this is the Best Jamaican restaurant in Myrtle Beach! The food is authentic and delicious! Everything is GOOD! We had the Escovitch fish and the jerk chicken! Big up to the chef and staff, who are very polite, professional, and courteous! This is the place if you want great food and an excellent experience! It's the only spot I come to when I'm in town!

The food was ok. The plate was loaded with rice, I had curry shrimp and they were ok. Not spicy at all. The plantain was good and fresh... my friend had fried chicken and it was ok and the curry chicken was falling off the bone but again wasn't the curry I'm used to and no spice but it was ok. We paid 50 for 2 plates which is average Jamaican price since my friend had 2 meat plate. The atmosphere was clean, they played music while we waited. Overall I give a 7/10.

We were visiting Myrtle Beach. It took us a minute to get there but we didn't mind at all. The reviews brought us to the restaurant. The staff were so nice. The freakn food was excellent in every way. Large portion that I ended up carrying out. Always that bit of kick with Jamaican food. Will visit again when we're in the area. (Jerk Chicken, Oxtails, Rice & Peas, and Mac n cheese; cabbage was sold out)

first appearance authentic Jamaican. The server was polite and knowledgeable of the menu which helped with our selection.food came fast was not busy good for us. Well the mac and cheese was creamy ,the cabbage was tender and flavorful. The curry goat was authentic flavorful Jamaican that stimulates your taste buds. The oxtail had a sweet savory taste. The jerk chicken was good my wife does not eat spicy so they accommodated light on the jerk sauce. This is real and very authentic as all the past reviews have stated consistently for the past year. The true and special thing is that it's family owned and operated. So if you are ever in the myrtle beach area stop in and see this excilant dinning experience
